Fascinated by the reflections Ladybug uses lights and shadows to sculpt her expressive faces. She has long been attracted to Africa which has become the central theme of her painting.
Ladybug created her very own signature technique, revisiting pointillism in her contemporary portraits. Using hard contrast mixed with painted vibrant colors applied with dynamic brushstrokes or African wax textiles she already states her distinct style.
Besides her academic training, Ladybug has learned the ropes of painting as an outdoor street artist populating the cities with her unique faces. Her works on canvases are currently available at the gallery.
